ME1100 Digital RF Communications Courseware

The ME1100 is a complete out-of-box teaching lab solution targeting 2nd/3rd year B.Eng electronic engineering or telecommunication engineering students.

This solution focuses on digital RF communications and modulation techniques. The trainer will be used along with two function generators, an oscilloscope and vector signal analysis software (Agilent VSA 89600). This trainer kit consists of two modules; one operating at low frequency (10MHz) and another operating at high frequency (868MHz).

The low frequency module consists of a 10 MHz IQ modulator whereas the high frequency module uses a RF signal generator to perform modulation. In order to achieve a better understanding on digital modulation, students are required to complete the lab exercises and accomplish the given assignments to enhance their signal analysis and design knowledge using Agilent test instruments, Agilent VEE and VSA89600 software.
